F.O.T.B.: adidas ZX Flux “Woodland Camouflage”

My pair of the adidas ZX Flux “Woodland Camouflage” has finally arrived. Like I mentioned in the first post, this ZX Flux pair originally released in Europe, but are now available on adidas.com. It’s a simple make-up with a classic woodland camouflage print on the upper. It has black accents, a yellow lace lock and off white out-sole. Nothing special, but if you’re a sucker for camo like me, than it’s up your alley. Here you’ll see a F.O.T.B photo slideshow, but unlike my regular outdoor shoots, these are done indoor. I’ve decided to spend more time practicing in a studio-like space; I have a tones of ideas on how to present shoes and can’t wait to do them. This is nothing new as far as the type of image because I’ve done ‘floating shoes’ before, but never did a full set for one sneaker. This time though, I’m looking to be a bit more dynamic with my presentation of shoes. Anyway, I hope you like the photos and I look forward to sharing more of this new direction in the future.  Enjoy!…

UNDS: Puma Trinomic XT1 Plus

Puma Trinomic XT2 Plus

Photography By Angel Gonzalez/Vagrant Sneaker ©2013/14

It’s a new year and with that, it’s time to UNDS the shoe for New Years Day. Last year I UNDS a New Balance and the year before that it was a Nike. This year I decided to bring in the new year 2014 with Puma #OnMyFeet. The main reason stems from the stellar year they had in 2013. With memorable collaborations and general releases which include re-introducing this retro of the Puma Trinomic XT1 Plus, Puma should be on everyones radar for 2014.With that said, it’s already looking strong for them with the release of the Compression 500, XT2 MMQ “Crafted” pack, more Trinomic XT1/2 CWs, Ronnie Fieg’s dual OG Disc Blaze release, etc. It’s good to see Puma finally reaching into their vaults to release more OG silhouettes and partnering with brands for special releases. I look forward to seeing how 2014 shapes up for them. Until that happens, here’s some “Fresh Out The Box” photos off and on foot of the Puma Trinomic XT1 Plus. Enjoy!…

F.O.T.B.: Nike Air Pegasus 83/30 “Black and Flash Lime”

Nike Air Pegasus 83:30 Flash Lime 10

The Nike Air Pegasus 83/30 by Nike Sportswear has been a shoe on my radar for two months now. It received a very good response of likes and comments when I posted the image of the red pair on my Instagram. Those reactions come from many reasons. The most obvious is that the shoe is red. For a long time now, red shoes have been a popular hue to wear on your feet. Whether a woman or man. There’s something about red that gets consumers going. To this day, I have yet to grab that pair and any other releases that have come out. Fortunately, I was given the opportunity to buy this pair last week before it hit store shelves (it’s mostly likely out now). Like the red pair, I like this CW a lot too. So join me on this Fresh Out The Box pictorial journey with words for the Nike Air Pegasus 83/30 “Black and Flash Lime”..

F.O.T.B.: ASICS Gel Saga “Black and Light Grey”

If you’ve followed the recent ASICS general releases you’ll come to note that there ‘ve been some really nice color-ways dropping this year. Impressive enough that they sell out, and not just here in the states. This all stems from the popularity of collaborations that have been gobbled up by fans, and that has added a much needed popularity to ASICS retro models. With that, people have been paying attention to anything ASICS posted up at blogs around the net and stores. Missing out on a few of those shoes myself, I made sure that this particular pair was one I would not make the mistake of doing so. Dressed in a heavy black hue with hints of mint and some gentle splatter to the mid-sole, this is as clean and as good as it gets. For sure, my favorite ASICS general release for 2013 so far…

F.O.T.B: New Balance x JCrew 998 “Pebble Blue”

NEW BALANCE JCREW 998 PEBBEL BLUE MAIN

Photography By Angel Gonzalez/Vagrant Sneaker ©2013

One of my favorite collaborations out there is the ongoing one between New Balance and JCrew. They started out with the NB1400 silhouette and that lead to other models, including the “Made In USA 998″. They introduced it with 2 color-ways in the form of the Dark Military and New Navy. Last week, they added the beautiful Pebble Blue c/w you see above. As a consumer, I always second guess the images JCrew releases  for them (they are your ordinary and bad generic photos). Even with that thought, I knew this was going to look great in person because I have two customs with similar colors. It also reminded me of another collab from 2012 by NB x Nonnantive dubbed Dune….
