Shortly after the release of his New Balance 999 “Steel Blue”, Ronnie Fieg goes full swing with another unshackle of a New Balance shoe. This time instead of working with a China based NB model, he gets the honor of working on one of New Balance’s “Made In USA” products and iconic model, the 1300. Not only is this his favorite NB silhouette, but one of the more desirable NB’s by fans all over the world. The quality will no doubt be on point with the classic nubuck, mesh, and shape of the 1300. Add an appealing color-way that sports a tonal Navy in the mix with a pop of light blue and a contrasting ‘Salmon’ out-sole and you will have one of the better collaborations for this year. Not only that, but it’s definitely the pinnacle release from the house that built KITH for 2012. So where, when and how can you grab these?…
Unlike past releases of allowing fans to camp, KITH have decided to permit consumers to come in now to either KITH Manhattan or Brooklyn to sign up for the opportunity to reserve and grab a pair on release day. All you need to do is bring in a valid ID to sign up at either location. Be aware that they will not allow anyone to camp outside the store, nor will you be able to buy it unless your name is on the reserve list. There of course will also be a limited online launch for all those that can’t make it to the store.
To accompany the release of the shoe, Ronnie Fieg has once again teamed up with Shades of Grey by Micah Cohen for a matching lined varsity jacket. The jacket will also be on a first come bases by the same means of the NB 1300 release. Just go to the store with your ID and get added to the reserve list. There will be 50 pairs of the jacket and the cost will be $250USD. No word if these will make an appearance online or not.
Good luck to all on grabbing their pairs and for those like myself waiting for the online launch, EXTRA good luck as we race to get our orders in.
What do you think about them? On your feet or Not? by clicking on the STAR voting system above the post.

yawn. wow, Ronnie, this is your worst effort to date. Plus, its almost a complete rip off of the New Balance Norse Projects collab.
You think so? I think it’s his best release for this year. Though, I do understand the Norse comment. I heard others mention that.
How you been BTW?
Maybe I was a bit harsh as some of the Asics from earlier this year were awful. My favorite was the leather backs. I am good man, working too much. How are you? I own the Norse Projects and other than the soles they are really similar.
Nah you weren’t harsh at all. I think he needs to regroup and take a break from ASICS so he can work on other brands. Leave that tool alone for like a year and then come out with something great.
I’m doing good. Busy as ever with work. That’s why the blog has been a crawl.
I heard that there will be an international release , any info?
From what I was told, there will be an Internatinal release. Unfortunately, I don’t have much info. Just a couple of store.
first off… the name is a complete joke. salmon soles? wtf???????????
trying to piggy back off the success of the salmon toe gl3? lol even if that ISNT the case.. he couldnt think of a better nickname or spare us all and NOT nickname them at all?
love the shoe, just hate how fieg has bastardized the running shoe game and tailors his brand and collaborations towards the hypebeast jordan swagtard segment of the shoe community. if this shoe didnt have the ronnie fieg kith hype train behind it, no one outside of true runner lovers wouldnt pay it any attention.
and thank you jesus/allah/moses for not having any stupid ass KITH JUST US branding visible anywhere on this shoe.
anyways… thanks for the contributions, updates and most of all… keeping it REAL unlike some people, keep it up angel ! any idea when a list of other US retailers for these might surface?
Thank you man. Its the only way I can be. Cant be on that hype train or fake Love shit. You’ll see more of a HONEST approach in future write ups. As far as US stockist, I don’t have a list.
I have to agree with pretty much everything just said on here on all separate points .. from the KITH lame branding to the Salmon Soles reference to RF releases in general. Definitely a hype shoe, like most RF releases. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The dude just compiles material and colorway on a sneaker; he doesn’t design the sneaker or create the silhouette. The shoes are basically iDs for the limited masses, nothing more.
What other online spots are gunna get these? Any idea?
Look for these, they are nicer and the same shoe (other than the lame salmon sole). https://ct-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/galleries/today-im-wearing-post/62242/New_balance_670_Norse_Project_3b.jpg
Sell me your pair!!!
Don’t beleive they will be available online other then KITH when it releases.
Yooooo! Sup Angel! Long time no touch base.. How you been? Being that I just don’t have the time to be up on the blogs like I used to, this release is total news to me.. LOL.. They are dope, colorway is right up my ally without any flashiness or crap AND they’re 1300s! You can’t go wrong! Sure, they are very similar to the Norse 670s which I love but have never been able to get so, these will do.. I’m sure the stores are all out of tickets so why bother.. I will just try my luck online tomorrow.. So you didn’t get a hook up? lol.. I wish NB would put the 1300 up on ID.. Now that would be EPIC!!
What it do Doug. I’m going to hit you up tomorrow….and no. Rf didn’t give me a pair. Stay tuned for some NB Custom update I have.
Sup holmes.. Well, due to some usual work BS, I had to be out at a client’s office Friday morning and missed the online release.. Blows! I see you managed to get a pair.. I hate you! LOL.. So spit out the details on that custom update.. If you ever need help with anything NB related.. let me know! I’m game.. lol..
Hey, can you comment at all on the Adidas x Opening Ceremony white/floral BMX hi-tops? I’ve never had a pair of hi-tops, and those seem really cool, although maybe they’re not since Kith has has the 11-12 range in stock for months. :/
Thanks!
