Tomorrow starts the official launch of the highly anticipated Hanon New Balance M1500CHF “Chosen Few” collaboration in-store. A shoe that pays homage to New Balance England in a very unique way by combining different premium and original materials. For instance, the navy suede is the same leather used to make the M577NG and the M576 Anniversary NGA. The nubuck normally used on 1300′s, 576′s is also seen on the shoe. There’s also the New Balance archival mesh with it’s nice reflective details. This is just a couple of many things that bring this shoe to life and make this New Balance 1500 a must have for any collector or fan of the silhouette. But, it doesn’t end there. People have asked about this model and it’s characteristics when compared to current and past NB1500′s; A certain Hanon picture sparked conversation about the shape and toe-box. So, I pitched my work to the boys at Hanon with hopes that they would give me the opportunity to showcase their shoe in a different perspective. They obliged…
I present you with an exclusive pictorial look into Hanon’s “Chosen Few”. Not only in its killer color-way, but in its refined shape when compared to the current inline NB1500′s. That sharp toe-box does make a difference in my eyes…
I’ll let the photos speak for them selves….BUT,
As far as the release INFO, you can expect these to launch in-store at Hanon tomorrow August 30th from 5pm to 7pm. The first 50 customers on queue will get their hands on the beautiful box set that comes loaded with stickers, a bag with Hanon scriptures and their bespoke logo on it. The box set is only available in-store, but there will be an online launch the following day on August 31st for the regular boxed version. Once the Hanon launch is over, you can expect other stockist to have these available next week. Stores like Solebox, High and Lows, etc. (Most of the regular shops you’ve known to carry them). No clue if they will be heading to the states, but hints from a certain boutique may prove to give some hope. Until that info is gathered, enjoy the photos and good luck to all.

Fuck these are beautiful. Hope I can get my hands on a pair if they make it to the States.
Hi VS i see u got a pair then!
Hi Angel,
Quality 1500 right here, pics are stunning as usual. I understand that the only difference in these and the current 1500 gr’s is the glue used. It’s made a massive difference in my opinion.
Had to re-edit this. I misunderstood your comment. A glue change? How so? Is there an explanation about it somewhere?
Great pictures!
Thank you. I had fun creating them Good luck on getting a pair.
What is the cost going to be on these?
Honestly dont know those details. Hanon never says the price until launch day.
These will be £120GBP and i can not wait to get a pair
wow these are extremely amazing!!! imo better then neptunes and seals.
also btw what kind of pants are those look nice!
I would have to agree with you. The pants are by Publish Brand. They are a very light weight pant and very comfy.
[...] wanted to do a quick post about the new shape of the New Balance M1500 that is on Hanon’s 1500CHF. Some people have questioned the photos I did. They think that I am using a plastic shoe tree to [...]
Hi mate,
I spoke to David at Hanon and asked him if Flimby had used and older mould for these and he informed me that NB have been testing different glue types to stick the mid-sole down same mould as current gr’s. It looks like they found the right one. Expect all 2013 NB’s to look this good shape wise.
That’s interesting. A simple thing as just changing the glue in current moulds to come out with a better looking product baffles me a little. Glad they listened to the fans screams about the current 1500 shape. I’m sure that had them scrambling.
Snagged my pair, size 11.5. The site was very slow from 5:30 PM CST and was up and down a bunch. The key to getting rare stuff from Hanon is to have patience with the site.
Nice man. That is th key. Some people quite moments after the site crashes, but all you have to do is keep on with it. Evn if it’s for 2 hours. When I got their Wildcats, it took me exactly that. I just kept trying until it went thorough. Patience…..
Yeah, that’s how I got the Wildcats too. patience is key. I hope you are well. Great shots of the shoe, by the way,
Thanks man. I’m good. Same toilet different day, but enjoying every minute of it. Life is good. Take it your well?
Another great collaboration by the Hanon brothers
Angel, do these fit bigger or smaller than other recent 1500′s, since the shape has changed for the better on these?
They fit like prior 1500s. So stay to your true NB sizing. These are a 10 1/2 and I wish I had an 11 becaue they are a little tight. The 1500 shape change from 2010 let me fit into a 10 1/2 just fine.
