Back in January I spoke about J.Crew’s next New Balance collaboration with the “Made in USA” 998. As you can see above there are two color-ways available to buy right now for $140 and $8.95 shippied. One in a classic color-up of navy, red, white and greys. The other is in, what they call, dark military. The color reminds a little of the military grey 1400, but embodied with bright colors of blue and orange. To me, its the more interesting of the duo and will most likely find it’s place in my stack. Unfortunately these pictures fail to impress anyones eyes as to what the quality will be. I would suspect that it will no doubt be on point and similar to the “Blue Denim” released a few months back.  Until we get some proper photographs, you can check out some more JCrew photos…

What do you think about the first duo? On your feet or Not? by clicking on the STAR voting system above the post.

Did you ever get to see these in person? Still debating whether or not to buy the “New Navys” because unsure about quality. I went to Europe recently and touched the New Balance 1500 Mints and Lemons and was really disappointed with the quality.

    • I actually haven’t seen them yet because the stores in the city still don’t have them. I will be looking again this weekend, but I can tell you the quality is better on these over those1500′s.
