Here’s an AVF of these beauties. It’s the next color-way from the New Balance and x J.Crew 1400 collaboration for the 2011 fall season. The deep hue of “Military Grey” is really another version of Army Green. It almost looks Grey but it almost looks like a Dark Olive. For me, I place it as the second best C/W from the set of eight. Of course, the Rusted Orange pair is still top and is THE best selling one from the entire set. I know the Wine one just released and it’s another killah c/w, but I have yet to see it in person. The few stores I visited out here did not have it yet, so the waiting continues…

I’m so mad that I missed the sale yesterday… It was 25% off everything and free shipping over $150… I have been so sick and spaced on actually ordering. At least it saved me a couple hundred dollars that I don’t have haha.

dont feel too bad Nic. the sales dont include 3rd party items, such as sperry shoes, timex watches and the new balance kicks as well. ive tried to use them myself and the codes just dont apply.
They are very lovely indeed!! I also like the Newer Mocha C/W that’s up on the site now and is scheduled to start shipping next month. If anyone has seen them, will you please confirm that it has a Gum Sole, in some pictures the Sole looks Black.
I’ve been wondering the same. Either a black or gum sole in appear in different pictures. Looking forward to the seeing the Wine one person.

Couldnt wait till christmas so ordered them last night. J Crew has a 25% off and it does work with these shoes. I bout a few other items to meet the minimum of $150 and the shoes came out to $97. not bad
Hey Vagrant. How to do these fit? Would you recommend me getting my true size? I noticed on the size selection on the j-crew website has each size with an “h” after it. Is that their meaning of half sizes?
This one’s hard. I actually go half down on these because they stretch, but some stay true. If you can make it to a J.Crew store, try them on.
