To start of the New Year right, I had to go to the Nike iD studio in NYC and meet up with iD specialist Kenny Mack. Not only to get some new tidbits that I can’t talk about just yet, but to put together an Air Max 1 iD idea that I’ve had for 8 months. One that would allow me to incorporate 4 or more colors in a design. Through vigorous color combos using my little “Book Of Colors”, I have come up with the color chart above. Club Purple, Obsidian, Sport Red, Light Charcoal, Victory Green, Black and White…

You probably thought you would catch a glimpse of the design, and you will, but not now. This design will be revealed when the current Air Max 1 Palette disappears so no one can make it. The reason is that I would like to keep a couple of designs to myself which includes the AM90 “Lovely Bones“. You know, my one of one. You may also be thinking that there are too many colors, but once you see them you’ll see the sense in the design. That’s because all the colors compliment each other. Oh, and the name was thought of on the spot because, the shoe didn’t come from any inspiration other than putting 4 to 6 colors together that work well with each other. PORG= Purple-Obsidian-Red-Green-Grey. Stay tuned for the detailed shots and I’ll just say that the Mesh is in Purple.
