Back in July, I brought you the exclusive details on the launch of French shoe brand, Veam. There, I mentioned that their site would be up in September and it now is but, you can’t make any orders from the web page yet. The culprit? There is so much demand for the shoe, that the limited quantities made are reserved before they can even be put up for sale on their own pages. So, how can you grab a pair of these very limited, exclusive and sure fire head turners, especially in the US? Well, I’ll have all the info you need after the break including, price, country launch and the next three releases which includes the above Black and Emerald color-way.
First, let me explain what Veam is…
Veam is a French brand coming from shoe enthusiasts that are tired of the sub-par quality of shoes now-a-days. So, in a hoorah to the yester-years of shoes made by hand and from superior materials, Veam was created; Quality, Passion and Dedication all bundled up into a caliber product that is Veam.
“Fresh Out The Box Choice“
The first shoe color-way, white/black/lagoon, was the one above reserved for Friends and Family. It was limited to only 48 pairs worldwide. The next color-way is the one you saw on the first picture of this post (Black and Emerald). After that release, they will give us the Blue Velvet and Mesh make-up. Than last but not least, is the White, Red and Blue Velvet color-way. There are a few others on the way, but that’s hush hush for now. Well, you get to see one other one in the picture above in the train tracks, with one more capture below.
All these color-ways will see release between Autumn/Winter 2010-2011. Production will only see anywhere from 50 to 100 pairs maximum for these and most up and coming release for at least a year or two. You will be able to grab them in a few select French shops first, by the end of the year (no info yet on which ones). Than, they will release in England, Australia, and Japan with the US following sometime in the future.
The price right now is 240 euros ($309) + shipping if you pre-order from Veam directly (You can expect the price to go up when they hit retail locations). If you want a pair, you need to contact them and get on a waiting list. Payment will be made through Pay Pal or a bank transfer. Contact for this transaction can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
There you have it. All the Veam info you need for now. You can expect yours truly to grab a pair soon, but I will not mention which make-up just yet. To follow that, will be a PSE for sure. I’ ll get right in there with my camera for this session.
As always, ‘Bringing It To You Fresh Out The Box‘ and keep the shoes on your feet.
