Updated: 9.1.10: Three new off-foot images added.

Here we go. The info you’ve been waiting for. This Friday, September 3rd at 10:am, the Asics x Ronnie Fieg Gel Lyte III “The Cove” will see release. Price will be $115 (most expensive one of his releases) and the allocation will be 225 for David Z online and a small amount at the David Z flagship store (no woman sizes). Check out more images of what they look like on foot as worn by Joe La Puma of Complex and Phil Annad of The Madbury Club.

Here’ the rest of the images below and you can even catch a few capture where the Asics are wet. It gives it an interesting color blocking effect by change the most outer parts of the leather pieces to a darker hue of the Aqua color. Wonder what the reaction would have been if they were like that instead because it looks nice either way.

In any case, enjoy the pics with the last two shots you’ll only see here and yes, I’ll be there early in the morning to grab my pair at the David Z Flagship store…

I’ll give you my 2 cents V, I would’ve liked them better if the c/w was the way they look wet :)

  2. Matti says:

^^Agreed! They have grown on me. I think the usage of these shades of blue gives it a fresh appeal to the sneak overall. I get thirsty every time i see it! Wack. Once again i will have to pass though, sad. Good luck grabbing your pair V.

  3. You know what Doug, I feel you on that 100%. I like them like that too. It adds another dimension to the shoe.

…and Matti, you know I’m gonna try to grab a pair. ;)
