Here’s a sneak peek into three sample color-ways of the DDC Lab designed, New Balance 574 Sonic Weld. This pack follows the same trend as the last, with it’s one tonal color-up. The difference with these is that they come in some bright colors, as opposed to the last three of Grey, Black and Brown. In this pack you’ll get one in a Day-Glo Blue, the second in a Day-Glo Yellow and after the break, you’ll see a Day-Glo Orange.

Ok, so now for the bad and good news. As of this moment, the Day-Glo Blue and Day-Glo Yellow pairs are not scheduled to release and are strictly samples left in limbo. Only the Day-Glo Orange has been slated for a July/August release. No firm date has been given yet because, originally, neither one of these were suppose to release. On another note, If you do plan on getting this pair or the very limited and hard to find Black or Grey pair, go half size up. I recently bought the Black Pair and found out that they run very small. Size up folks, you’ve been warned…
Anyone looking for the last release may be wondering where they could get them. Well, since production was very limited on these, only a few stores got them. One being Commonwealth which still has a few sizes left, Conveyor Fred Segal and the other store is the DDC Lab store in NYC which only got a batch of sizes in 9 1/2, 11 and 12. You can also pre-order pairs at Hanon-Shop and Urbanindustry that will ship at the end of June.
Stay tuned for further details as it comes…

now when you mention sizing up is it because of the width of the shoe or the length?
it’s the length of the shoe.
thanks man, I really appreciate it. I live in LA and yet i STILL haven’t seen any sonics in store, so not being able to try them on can be a hassle.
Nice site too, thanks for the posts
